Boston Marathon Fundraiser
My name is Divya Rajaraman, and I am a sophomore at MIT who has called Brookline home my entire life. The Brookline Senior Center has played a meaningful role in my family's journey. When my grandmother was having health problems, the Senior Center connected us with support groups that brought comfort to her and my family during a challenging time. Some of my fondest childhood memories at the Senior center include attending the craft fairs and getting my face painted as a kindergartener.
This past October, I completed my first marathon, fulfilling a dream that began as I cheered on Boston Marathon runners from Coolidge Corner every year. Now, I have the opportunity to make my next marathon even more meaningful. I am determined to raise at least $5,000 to support the Brookline Senior Center and help fund the same services that supported my grandmother and so many others in our community. Your generosity will ensure that the Senior Center can continue its mission of care and connection for those who need it most. Thank you for your support!
