Hello! Thanks so much for visiting my fundraising page.

As both a social worker focused on older adults and a runner, I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to run the Boston Marathon while supporting the Brookline Senior Center. Since moving to Massachusetts a few years ago I have found my home here through my work at the senior center and my Boston running community, so this opportunity feels very special to me.

Last year I had the privilege of working at the Brookline Senior Center while pursuing my Masters in Social Work from Boston College. My time spent at the senior center was filled with connection, learning, joy, and so much more. Providing free tablets and internet access, assisting folks applying for public resources, leading sports discussion groups, and doing weekly home visits were just a few of the things I found myself doing in my time there, and a small number of the huge list of things the senior center has to offer. I've never known a place filled with so many people so dedicated to their mission.

The Brookline Senior Center is a vital resource for the town's older adult community and its importance will only grow as our population ages. From the staff to the volunteers, the senior center is somewhere that truly cares and where all are welcome.

So, as a runner and a social worker, I seriously appreciate any donations you may be able to make to the senior center on my behalf. It is truly my privilege to be able to represent such a special place while doing something that I love.
